 There is absolutely nothing more powerful than witnessing our brothers and sisters take the life-changing, transformative step of water baptism! It was, without a doubt, the absolute highlight of our time together as a church family. 

February was more than a historical look-back; it is a sacred recognition of how God has moved through the lives of those who fought for justice, preached equality, and built foundations of hope where none existed. We celebrate the spiritual pioneers and unsung heroes who transformed their trials into triumphs, reminding us that our present is built upon their courage. 

IN TIMES OF TROUBLE, TRUST GOD

This message, based on Psalm 27:1-2, encourages believers to maintain unshakable trust in God when facing life's trials, whether financial, physical, or relational, and when opposed by "the wicked.". 

The message aims to: 

• Show that true strength lies only in the Lord.
• Help viewers overcome the spirit of fear and intimidation.
• Inspire believers not to let fear silence their praise.
• Challenge faith to the next level through prayer and fasting during difficult seasons.

IN THY WORD

This message emphasizes the unchanging nature of God in contrast to the ever‑changing nature of people. Pastor reminds the congregation that politicians, preachers, and even parents may change, but God remains constant. From this foundation, highlighting David’s words: “Blessed are they that keep His testimonies and that seek Him with the whole heart.” The message encourages us to pursue God wholeheartedly, trust His unchanging truth, and live in alignment with His Word.

Take a look back at the DOCCF Fall Festival.🧡  We had an amazing time celebrating with the community, featuring: Delicious food and treats 🍿 Exciting games and bounce houses for the kids 🥳 Incredible fellowship and ministry moments 🙏  Thank you to all the volunteers and everyone who came out to make this day a success!  Faith, as taught by Rev. Kenneth McKay, is the essential foundation for pleasing God, activating His promises, and providing the power and discernment needed to live the Christian life according to His specific instructions. 

DON'T LOSE SIGHT OF JESUS

 Minister Barbara Roundtree delivered a message highlighting the importance of parental responsibility and keeping Jesus at the center of family life. She urged parents to model godly behavior, pray consistently, and intentionally nurture the spiritual well‑being of their children.  Ultimately, she called parents to be active, present, and spiritually engaged to counterbalance the skepticism and digital pressures shaping today’s youth. 

 Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy our amazing Tastegiving Fellowship!🙏 It was a wonderful time of indulging in all the delicious, sweet treats and desserts! We are so grateful for our church family and friends who make this event so special. We cherish these times of coming together. Thank you for making our event a success!
