The Great Commandment states, “Love the Lord your God’…’Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:37-39). During this pandemic, one way we express love for ourselves is in doing what we can to protect ourselves from getting infected. In the same way, one way we express love for our neighbor is in doing what we can to protect them from getting infected.
As Christ’s disciples, we are learning to live out our calling to worship, pray, encourage, witness, disciple, and serve in creative ways that minimizes the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
As COVID 19 restrictions are loosening and businesses are reopening, our leaders are prayerfully planning our church reopening by using information provided by the CDC, scientists, local government leaders and public health officials.
Although we long to worship in person with our brothers and sisters in Christ, until further notice, we will continue to offer services virtually. When we are ready to reopen, we will do so carefully with the health of our members as our primary focus. Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support.
